How do I get to your office:
My office in 336 Baker Ave, Concord, MA is located 0.5 miles west on Main St/Route 62 from Route 2 in Concord. Baker Ave is on your Right at the first traffic light. Once on Baker Ave, look for the first brick office building, which you’ll see on the left side, just before you go over the railroad crossing.
The front of the building faces away from the road, so pull into the parking lot and follow around, bearing right as you reach the top of the small incline, to where you will see the awning and lobby doors. You may park in any space marked specifically for building #336, along the train tracks or, if none are available there, back down the incline on either side. Please be respectful of signage indicating parking limitations for other businesses.
As you enter the lobby through the glass doors near the train tracks, please pay careful attention to any building management signs with safety instructions. When you enter, you are on the first floor. My office is one of two inside the first door on your right. The outer door should be open, so simply turn to the right as you enter and proceed to door at the end of a short hall.
As a standard procedure, the space where we will work will have been sanitized ahead of your arrival. As I often keep a window open for a bit for fresh air, if it is cold outside, please dress with this in mind.
What snacks, if any, can I send with my child?
Sending healthy snacks is encouraged to help keep energy and focus well nourished. Please do not send messy foods, and for the health and safety of all, please avoid foods that contain allergens such as tree nuts and peanuts.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept BlueCross BlueShield. Please bear in mind it is your responsibility to review the terms of your insurance policy in advance to understand the specifics of your coverage, including your policy’s limits, deductible, coinsurance and copays.
Where can we get lunch?
West Concord downtown is within a 10 minute walk or about a 1-2 minute drive west (right out of the parking lot onto Baker Ave, and right on Main St, bearing right at the traffic lights once you’re in the business area). There are many great options for a quick, delicious and nutritious lunch with easy parking and many choices within a quick walk. If you have something specific in mind, I can probably help narrow your search.
COVID-19 FAQ
Does my child need to wear a mask?
I am not presently requesting visitors to wear face masks, but as the pandemic lingers, I will review my policy in response to developing circumstances as necessary. I exercise extreme precaution cleaning my office space and testing materials and keep a window open year round to keep air flowing, given the persisting risk of Covid transmission.
Is there a space inside where I may wait during my child’s appointment?
While I understand the instinct to remain close at hand, for planning purposes, it may be more comfortable for you to wait outside in your vehicle or on the grounds of the office area while I am testing your child. If the weather is accommodating, there are picnic tables in the grassy area across the lower end of the parking lot near Baker Ave that you are welcome to use.
An inside waiting room has been furnished by the building management as a shared space for offices within the building, which you are welcome to take advantage of. Where it is a shared space, I have no direct control over its maintenance, privacy or sanitation, but it is there and available as needed.
Either way, we will arrange a set time for you to plan your return to the office to pick up your child for lunch and at the end of the day, and I will call your cell if you are needed at other times over the course of your child’s testing session.
